I was really excited to get a chance to work on the Amazon show Goliath. The scene I choreographed is in season 3 in episode 3, “Good Morning Central Valley.” The plot is a drug overdose hallucination by the actor Beau Bridges whose character dies at the end of the dance. Billy Bob Thornton calls a Square Dance in a dream-like world where everyone is dressed in Marie Antionette inspired vintage costumes and wigs. Amazing Director and Executive Producer Lawrence Trilling was very open to my ideas and it was especially fun creating the many overhead Busby Berkeley inspired formations I suggested we use. This is just a small version of the 3 minute sequence. It’s hard to believe we created the entire piece in one day of rehearsal, one day of camera blocking and 1.5 days of shooting.
